I live by Him, through Him, and for Him.

Sometimes I forget this. 

When he goes through hard times, there’s a reason why David says his soul will praise the Lord. It’s because praising God is how we become happy. We are not happy when we conquer bad times by ourselves, because there is still something not there. Happiness is achieved when we praise God. God does give us peace, but I think that we are happy when we praise God not because He gives us happiness, but because we are in our rightful place. At His feet.
